Adopting with Beacon
Through the support of adopters, Beacon’s mission to provide loving homes for cats and dogs is achievable. For any adopter, their relationship with the rescue doesn’t end when they take their new family member home; we are always available to provide help and resources to our adopters, and we always appreciate updates on our Beacon Alumni!

The Adoption Process
Ready to adopt a lifelong companion?
To adopt one of our animals, please complete our ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION FORM. If you’d prefer, you may also download, complete, and mail or bring a copy of our PAPER APPLICATION to the Rescue during public hours. The adoption application process involves a vet check and proof that you either own your home or have permission to have an animal. If you do not have a vet reference, a home check will be necessary. Please bring or email the name and phone number of the veterinarian you use along with proof that you own your home or are permitted to have a pet. You must be of age 21 to adopt and have two forms of I.D. Beacon is proud to offer active military members and veterans an adoption discount. |
